Phi: Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika dan Terapan is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews on physics education and applied physics (See Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published in January and July every year.

This journal publishes research results in applied physics and physics education that impacts knowledge and technology. We do not publish preliminary studies. Journal Phi also publishes interdisciplinary science research that supports the development of physics and physics education.

Specifically, the topics and scope that are published consist of: 1) Curriculum in physics; 2) Education; 3) Learning strategies in physics education; 4) Media and instructional technology in physics education; 5) Relation of psychology and physics education; 6) Assessment in physics education; 7) Teacher competence in physics education; 8) Instrumentation and computing for physics education technology, and 9) Applied physics includes geophysics and material technology.
